I have taught some of this content under a number of differen special topics courses over the past 14 years. However, I first taught a class mostly focused on Software Families in Fall 2003 under the ENGR 660 course. The Fall 2007 version of the course was taught with similar content. The Fall 2011 course will have similar content, but the instructor is updating it to use more content on software culturization and on the Scala language.
