Assignment #5: Presentation Report
Due Date: Tuesday, 1 April 2014 at 11:59 p.m.

Write a 200-500 word report on on one of the following presentations:

• March 4 class presentation by Dr. Yixin Chen on scientific peer reviews
• March 5 CIS Department seminar by Ken Sones on entrepreneurship
• March 20 class presentation by Jason Hale on grant writing
• March 27 class presentation by Dr. Walter Chambliss on technology transfer
• Any other guest presentation in this class, CIS Department Seminar, or CIS Skills Seminar held during March 2014
• April 1 class presentation by Brian Young on using library resources (But you still must meet the midnight deadline for submission of the assignment.)
• Another event in March with the approval of Dr. Cunningham

The slides for the Powerpoint presentations given by Chen, Hale, and Chambliss are linked to the lecture notes page.

Your paper must be your own work. Include appropriate citations and a bibliography for any sources that you use in preparation of your report. You may include quotations if needed. You may also use materials other than the presentations themselves.

Format your paper using LaTeX and BibTeX.

Submit the source files and a PDF of the paper electronically via Blackboard by the due date. Turn in a paper copy of the paper to Dr. Cunningham in class or in his mailbox. (This can be done at the next class after the due date.)
