If you already have a home page, you may modify it so that it matches the requirements of the assignment or you may create another page (in some file other than index.html).
Your home page should reside on a system with a World-Wide Web server (e.g., sunset, hal, cy) in the subdirectory public_html in a file called index.html.
Your home page should include the following features:
Creativity counts! Try to make your page informative and visually pleasing.
In a separate file (i.e., not index.html) in your public_html directory create a page that provides information about an interest or hobby. You may work alone on in a group of up to three people. If you work in a group, the file need only reside in one member's account. All group members should link to the page from their home pages. (All group members must contribute to creation of the shared page.)
Some ideas for interest/hobby pages include:
You should use the WWW search facilities (e.g., in netscape) to find pages of interest at other locations on the WWW.
Remember that your interest/hobby page should provide other people with information, make it as interesting as you can. Include images and links to other sources of related information.
When you complete your home page, send an e-mail message to cs211@hal.cs.olemiss.edu. In the message, give the URL of your home page, the URL of your interest/hobby page, and the names of the other members of your group. This message should be sent by the due date given at the beginning of this document.
We will link your home page to the CSci 211 class home page.
