ENGR 691 (Component Software) Assignment 3 Fall Semester 2002

This is a small group assignment. Please work in the same groups as Assignment #1 unless otherwise directed. For the problem given in Assignment #1:

As appropriate, refine/modify your previous models and designs.
Implement a prototype of the library circulation management system where the components on the systems services and business services layers are implemented as Enterprise Java Beans in an appropriate manner.
Implement the user interface and user dialog layers in any manner that is convenient (e.g., a Java Swing client or Java Servlets).
Turn in a final report that includes the revised analysis and design documents, the annotated source code, and any other appropriate documents needed to illustrate your system.
Make electronic versions of your programs available as described later.
Be prepared to make a 15-minute presentation on your project during the final week of class.
